The Alliance is looking for a New Media Associate

The Alliance is seeking a talented individual to assist us with our new media activities starting as soon as possible in our Palo Alto, CA office.
The New Media Associate will be responsible for some or all of the following tasks:
* Developing and managing day-to-day relationships with companies in the online space (social networking, applications, search, portals, etc.)
* Alliance website content updates
* Management of our email and mobile lists
* Writing creative emails and SMSs
* Developing interactive online elements
* Collaboration with our internet and mobile contractors
* Implementing online fundraising strategies
* Directing Alliance email inquiries to the appropriate staff person
* A variety of other tasks in a start-up atmosphere
The Associate will be the go-to person handling daily internet activities among a small staff in a high-paced and demanding but highly rewarding environment.
The ideal candidate is ambitious, creative, flexible, has knowledge of the space, and is extremely detail-oriented. We are looking for someone with a couple years of experience in new media. Interested candidates should send a resume and cover letter to info@climateprotect.org.
