Focus the Nation is organizing a national teach-in day on January 31, 2008. Millions of students nationwide will participate in workshops to learn about global warming and brainstorm solutions to help fight climate change. Focus the Nation’s goal is to create a dialogue at over a thousand colleges, universities, high schools, middle schools, places of worship, civic organizations and businesses, and directly engage millions of students and citizens with the nation’s decision-makers. Hundreds upon hundreds of ecospots were submitted, and George Clooney, Cameron Diaz, Orlando Bloom, Rihanna and the rest of our judges picked the 23 semifinalists. But now it’s up to you to choose the winners.
The top four ecospots as chosen by you, the community, will be broadcast internationally on Current TV, showcased on MySpace’s Impact Channel and featured in the Alliance’s national campaign. So your vote will help shape how the world thinks about the climate crisis.
